Das vorletzte Wochenende war bei uns noch sommerlich war, doch die letzten Tage waren recht kühl und regnerisch. Und da ist die Vorfreude auf einen schönen Herbst besonders groß. Mit dieser Karte habe ich versucht, die farbenfrohen und leuchtenden Farben dieser Jahreszeit einzufangen.
Nachdem ich den wunderschönen Clingstempel “Wintry Trail“ von Penny Black mit einem dunkelbraunen Farbton gestempelt hatte, wurde der Hintergrund mit der Farbpalette der Distress-Stempelkissen coloriert, teilweise habe ich auch mit Distress-Markern gearbeitet.
Die herbstliche Waldszene wurde mit grünem Cardstock - den ich vorher noch passend zum Schriftzug mit grüner Stempelkissenfarbe gewischt habe - gelayert und auf eine weiße Grundkarte aufgebracht.
Verziert wurde die Karte lediglich mit drei cremefarbenen Halbperlen, der schöne Spruch “Wishing you happiness” ist von Clearly Besotted Stamps.
