Für diese Karte habe ich zuerst den pinken Hintergrundstreifen in der Acrylblock-Technik gestaltet, hierfür habe ich einen länglichen Acrylblock mit einem Mini-Distress Stempelkissen eingefärbt, als Farbton habe ich das Pink “Picked Raspberry“ von Distress Ink gewählt, mit Wasser besprüht und abgestempelt. Als das Aquarellpapier gut durchfeuchtet war, kam noch das pinke Brusho-Pulver “Alizarin Crimson“ ins Spiel.
Als Motiv kam ein neues Blumenset von Penny Black zum Einsatz, es nennt sich “Flower Pageant“ und besteht aus drei wunderschönen Blumenmotiven, eins davon habe ich eingeweiht und die Blüten mit Distress Markern coloriert.
Der Geburtstags-Schriftzug “May your day be as wonderful ...” ist aus dem Set "Birthday Wishes" von Kaisercraft.
Um die Blüten noch ein wenig hervorzuheben, habe ich diese mit weißen Akzenten versehen, die zarten Spritzer im Hintergrund sind mit dem Konfetti-Stempel von Cats on Appletrees entstanden.

Sehr schöne Karte, liebe Anke, die kräftigen Farben gefallen mir zu dem schönen Motiv sehr gut. Hübsch finde ich auch die kleinen Punkte im Hintergrund, die passen gut. Und der schöne Spruch passt von der Grösse her perfekt - also alles in allem eine tolle Karte.
